About the Course

The Masters of Bank Management (MBM) is designed to prepare students for success in the dynamic financial sector by combining a solid foundation in bank management. MBM program offer professionals to expand skills for management of banks and financial institutions. MBM program help students to make innovative choices and judgment about policy, operation and execution in banks and financial institutions keeping in view the macro-economic environment.

How much will it cost (2016-2017 fees)?

Full programme: BDT 1,32,684.

How long will it take?

Academic session for MBM program shall extend over a period of 1 academic year, 3 semesters.

How often will I need to attend?

A student must attend all the classes. Up to three absences, per course, in a semester may be excused.

What qualification do I need?

The minimum requirement for eligibility to seek admission into MBM program are a bachelor degree or its equivalent in any field including business, science, humanities, engineering, agriculture or medicine. For all foreign certificates equivalence will be determined by the University.

When and how should I apply?

The University calendar is arranged so that students may start in January, May or September.

What will I be studying?

You are required to complete 3 semesters to obtain 36 credits.

You will cover a rotating combination of:

  • Business / Humanities
  • Bank Management
  • Computer Science
How will I be taught?

Face-to-face teaching, lectures and seminars.

How will I be assessed?

You will be assessed by course assignments and/or in-class tests, plus formal examinations.

There are a lot of opportunities to develop career in private banks as well as Government bank.
