About the Course

Masters of Computer Application (MCA) program provides a pioneering, flexible and significant computer science education that produces high-demand, highly sought after professionals capable of thriving in challenging, advanced technical environments demanded in today's highly developing business world.

Full programme: BDT 123,168.

How long will it take?

1 academic year and 4 Months; i.e. 4 semesters.

How often will I need to attend?

A student must attend all the classes. Up to three absences, per course, in a semester may be excused.

What qualification do I need?

Each student will need to have one of the following requirements:

  • 4 years bachelors’ degree from a recognized university
  • 3 years Honors degree and 1 year master's degree
  • Graduate students having completed PGDIT course
  • Graduate with at least 2 years working experience in IT related job

The applicant's undergraduate grade point average (GPA), GRE score and work experience will be considered in the admission process. Applicants must also be able to demonstrate computer literacy and have received undergraduate credit for precalculus. A personal interview will be encouraged and may be required.

When and how should I apply?

The University calendar is arranged so that students may start in January, May or September.

You are required to complete 4 semesters to obtain 48 credits.
